Working on behalf of our client based on a site in Wrexham. We are currently looking for experienced Electrical Controls Engineer. The role will involve a mixture of design, commissioning, and electrical engineering support.Key Duties:Amendments and updates to electrical drawings in CADCommissioning of ABB drives and motorsWorking knowledge of Pilz safety systemsElectrical design experienceElectrical panel design knowledgeWhat we are looking for in the successful candidate:Previous experience within industrial automation / electrical engineering environmentsAbility to work independently and collaborativelyStrong problem-solving skills and practical engineering approachAvailability throughout June preferredImmediate availability advantageousHNC / HND or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Automation Engineering, or similarRelevant industry experience in industrial electrical or automation environmentsProficiency in AutoCAD Electrical or similar CAD softwareExperience commissioning ABB drives and motorsKnowledge of Pilz safety systems and machine safety standardsExperience with electrical design and control panel designUnderstanding of industrial control systems, PLCs, and electrical schematics18th Edition Wiring Regulations desirableDesirable Experience:Controls & automation backgroundSite commissioning experienceExperience with industrial machinery or manufacturing systemExperience with Siemens, Allen Bradley, or Schneider systemsFunctional safety or TV certificationWhat our client can offer in return:Minimum 1 month contractNegotiable Day Rate37 hour weekTPBN1_UKTJ
