Project Engineer - Lean Manufacturing

Vickerstock are working in partnership with a leading manufacturing plant, a global leader in their field for the recruitment of a Project Engineer. Reporting to the Project Manager you will work on projects across production operations with a focus on lean manufacturing.
Your new role:
1. Lead lean manufacturing projects across the plant with a focus on production.
2. Root cause analysis to deliver solutions to project issues.
3. Manage kpi's which demonstrate value, performance, reliability, efficiency along with project delivery measures.
4. Prepare process documentation and operating instructions.
5. Develop processes and workflows, to devise, implement and test new strategies to help optimize productivity.
6. Conduct feasibility reports for projects and present management for approval.
7. Liaise with other departments to gain technical knowledge to understand performance bottlenecks and identify improvement opportunities.
8. Identifying future capacity demands and develop programs to meet business needs.
9. Implement manufacturing improvement strategies and problem-solving.
10. Analyze data to identify improvement areas.
What you'll need:
* Degree in an engineering related subject
* 5 years' experience gained in a manufacturing environment in a similar role
* Project Management Experience
* Experience in root cause analysis & fault-finding experience on automated machinery & electrical systems
