Edinburgh wide Intensive Home Treatment Team (IHTT)
Part Time Hours May Be Considered
We are looking for an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our well established, multidisciplinary Intensive Home Treatment Team (IHTT). The IHTT provides an alternative to hospital admission for people across Edinburgh who are acutely unwell or in crisis and who can be supported at home, with the aim of promoting recovery in the least restrictive environment possible. It also works with individuals who may require additional input to support their transition from the acute adult in-patient setting to the community.
As a key member of the MDT, you will provide highly specialist psychological assessments
formulations and evidence-based interventions for adults who are presenting in crisis as well as providing support and consultation to other members of the multidisciplinary team, embedding psychological thinking in all aspects of care.
Teaching and training will generally be expected as part of this role and there is also the opportunity for service development, which is actively encouraged. There is a commitment to the professional development of staff within the service.

You will be part of a wider supportive Psychology team comprising psychologists working in CMHT and acute adult inpatient service in Lothian.
