My client who are a growing and thriving business who are on an excellent growth trajectory for the next 5 years are seeking a Purchasing Administrator to join their friendly and welcoming team and support their purchasing function.
Your duties will include:
* Manage purchase order processes
* Manage the completion of associated documentation for new suppliers and contractors and setting up on Sage in line with the process
* Manage contractor validations to ensure compliance, conduct CIS checks, currency of insurances and any qualifications required for scope of works
* Arranging return of goods to suppliers and credits for items returned in conjunction with Sales and Warehouse as necessary and ensure Return Process is managed through to credit posting
* Resolve invoice queries
* Support the Purchasing Manager with data and trend analysis
You must have:
* Sage system experience (ideally)
* Buyer experience preferred
* Good communicator
* Good problem solving skills
* Experienced user of Microsoft office (especially Excel)
* Good negotiator
* Able to build effective relationships with suppliers
* Organisational and planning skills
