Our client is a growing online furniture brand with a fast-paced, creative and collaborative culture. Starting five years ago as a UK sofa supplier they now offer complete home and office furniture ranges in an ever-increasing number of countries. Design-wise they are dedicated to delivering engaging, visually impactful work across digital and print platforms, and are now seeking a talented Midweight Graphic Designer to join their team on a fully remote 12-month maternity cover contract by the start of November; ideally leading to a permanent role.

You
A 2–4 year stint within agency or in-house design will likely have you at the right level in the team
Strong portfolio showcasing creativity, attention to detail and getting the most from a brand while staying within the lines – online retail experience would be a big plus but doesn’t define the perfect person
Experience of designing for both digital and print platforms
Solid understanding of typography, layout and visual hierarchy
Motion graphics, video editing or UI/UX design experience would be a bonus
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
Organised, adaptable and able to manage multiple priorities effectively from a distance
Sofa so good?
This maternity contract will ideally start the first week on November though they have capacity to bring that forward by a couple of weeks if needed. There will be a healthy crossover/handover period and a commitment to teamwork and communication amongst the remote department’s members. They offer a home studio budget to help you get your set-up just right.
Our client is seeking a creative thinker who combines innovation with practical execution. You’ll be confident working independently while thriving in a collaborative environment, eager to bring fresh ideas and deliver visually compelling results. Reporting to a senior designer and working with a team of friendly creative people you’ll be at the heart of this brand’s success and ongoing expansion.
