We are looking for an individual who can demonstrate the ability and passion required to be a senior lecturer within the Occupational Therapy academic team on a full-time basis.
You would be expected to bring a passion and experience of working with learners to develop and reach their full potential. To be the right person for this post, you must have a clear focus on the learning, teaching, and quality assurance aspects of Occupational Therapy education, as well as a commitment to ensuring a positive and inclusive student and staff experience.
Working alongside an innovative and committed team, you will bring new ideas and perspectives to ensure the continued high performance and impact of the courses. Through your organized approach, you will be able to develop and grow within this post at the university.
This post is part of a supportive team with a track record for innovation and high performance. You will be a qualified Occupational Therapist registered with the HCPC, with experience working with learners in higher education or clinical practice. You should have excellent people skills, be capable of leading projects, and support high-quality student experiences while providing solutions within university policies. Your ability to work collaboratively and adapt to different environments is essential. Demonstrated skills in engaging and impactful teaching that leads to student success are also required.
Essential qualifications:
* Degree qualification or equivalent in a relevant subject to Occupational Therapy
* Professional Recognition as HEA Fellow (D2) or a recognized teaching qualification, or willingness to obtain one within an agreed timeframe
Desirable qualifications:
* Master's degree in a relevant subject
* Doctorate in a relevant subject, completed or within 12 months of completion
* Relevant professional qualification and registration with the HCPC
