Overview

Queen Elizabeth Sixth Form College is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Women’s Football Coach who can motivate and develop students of all levels of ability. The role works within the Sports Enrichment programme and will conduct training sessions on Wednesday afternoons, deploying strategies to build upon the strengths and weaknesses of individual players and the team.

Location: Darlington • Establishment: Queen Elizabeth Sixth Form College • Department: Enrichment • Job Type: Part Time (Casual Post, as Required) • Hours per Week: 2.00 • Weeks per Year: 52 • Pay: £20.97 per hour

Responsibilities

* Conduct training sessions for the Women’s Football team as part of the Sports Enrichment programme.
* Develop and implement coaching strategies to improve individual players and team performance.
* Work with the Sports Development Coordinator and coaching team to contribute to programme delivery on Wednesday afternoons.


Requirements / Qualifications

* The ability to inspire and motivate young people (Essential).
* Experience of coaching young people (Essential).
* Excellent teamwork and communication skills (Essential).
* A supportive and empathetic approach towards students (Essential).
* Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding young people (Essential).
* Enhanced DBS check required; applicant will need to apply for a DBS or provide consent to check status if registered with the DBS Update Service.
