About the Role
We are actively recruiting STEM graduates to work as Cover Supervisors in well-regarded mainstream secondary schools across Wolverhampton. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates to gain classroom experience, develop skills in teaching, and support pupils across KS3 and KS4 in Chemistry, Biology, Physics, and Maths.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and manage classes during teacher absence
* Deliver pre-prepared lessons in STEM subjects
* Maintain high standards of behaviour and engagement in the classroom
* Support pupils’ learning and development according to school policies
* Provide feedback to teaching staff on pupil progress and behaviour
Who We’re Looking For
* Graduate in a STEM subject (Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Maths, or related field)
* Enthusiastic and confident working with secondary school pupils
* Strong communication and classroom management skills
* Flexible and adaptable for daily supply, part-time, or full-time cover
* Previous experience in education or working with young people is advantageous but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
