The Role: Full-time position, Monday to Friday Based in a primary school in St Helens Start date: ASAP Working with children who have a range of special educational needs including autism, speech and language difficulties, and SEMH Main Duties: Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups to help them access the curriculum Assisting the class teacher in adapting resources and activities Implementing individual learning and behaviour support plans Building positive, trusting relationships with pupils and staff The Ideal Candidate Will: Have prior experience supporting children with SEN, particularly in a school or childcare setting Be calm, flexible, and proactive in their approach Work effectively as part of a team Hold a relevant qualification such as a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant certificate (preferred but not essential) What's On Offer: A friendly, inclusive school environment Ongoing support and professional development A competitive daily rate (based on experience) ...
