MRP Systems ControllerBournemouth - Hybrid (2 days onsite)£50,000 - £60,000 + BenefitsManufacturing SectorExclusively Managed by SF TechnologySF Technology are supporting a well-established UK manufacturing business in the search for an experienced MRP Systems Controller to take ownership of its Oracle-based MRP environment.This is a standalone, business-critical position offering real autonomy and the opportunity to become the internal specialist for a core operational system.The RoleYou will be responsible for the ongoing stability, maintenance and optimisation of a legacy Oracle/Unix-based MRP system (Evolution), supporting both IT and manufacturing teams across two UK sites.Key responsibilities includeMaintaining and optimising Oracle database performance (Unix/IBM environment)Ensuring maximum system uptimeTroubleshooting system and data issuesSupporting month-end and year-end processesCreating and developing tailored reports (Evolution)Performing preventative maintenance and regular system checksTesting upgrades and liaising with third-party vendorsTranslating technical issues into clear, practical solutions for business usersThis role would suit someone comfortable working independently, managing their own workload, and acting as the primary point of contact for system-related matters.About YouYou will ideally have:Experience supporting MRP/ERP systems within a manufacturing environmentOracle database experience (Unix-based systems)Basic SQL knowledge for querying dataStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsExperience operating in a standalone or highly autonomous roleThe ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical usersExperience with Evolution reporting tools, Unix environments, or legacy ERP platforms would be highly advantageous.Why Apply?High-ownership, specialist positionHybrid working model (2 days onsite)Stable and established manufacturing businessOpportunity to take full responsibility for a business-critical systemLong-term permanent opportunityIf you have experience supporting Oracle-based MRP systems within manufacturing and are looking for a role where you can truly own and manage the environment, please apply via SF Technology for a confidential discussion.
