Experience and responsibilities
* 30 years of experience testing food, Agri, feeds, pharmaceutical and consumer products.
* For 12 years on the Global business line for food at Intertek, responsible for the quality, technical and operations of Intertek food laboratories and for new innovative ideas that help clients achieve their goals.
* Provide advice and support to small, medium and large food manufacturers in the areas of legality including food labelling, HACCP, hygiene, nutrition and interpretation of test results.
* Trained as a food standards inspector, and an ISO9001 and BRC auditor, and developed several inspection platforms relating to food safety and hygiene.
Qualifications
* Awarded MChemA in 1996 which enabled appointment as Public Analyst and scientific advisor for local authorities in the UK and as expert witness for the courts.
* Experience with several commercial laboratories as a technical and quality advisor and laboratory manager.
