About the role
The Lecturer/Associate Professor in Environmental Engineering will be based at the Department of Civil, Environmental and Geomatic Engineering (CEGE). The department hosts a diverse team of staff and world-leading research projects, groups, and centres. We have strong links to industry and research, thanks to our proximity to major infrastructure projects and leading firms in central London.
The postholder will:
* Develop a rigorous, high-level Environmental Engineering research programme aligned with existing departmental and UCL activities, with potential for growth.
* Participate in securing external funding to support research projects.
* Publish regularly in high-quality refereed journals.
* Contribute substantially to teaching at both undergraduate and MSc levels.
About you
To be successful, you will:
* Hold a PhD in Environmental Engineering or a related field, with relevant higher education teaching experience.
* Have a strong research profile, evidenced by high-quality publications and a significant track record in a technical subject compatible with departmental capabilities.
* Be able and willing to attract external funding for research and future projects.
The salary range for this role is £52,487 - £72,370, commensurate with experience.
