Duties
* Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals according to established recipes and standards.
* Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen.
* Support catering operations by preparing food items for events and functions as required.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow during busy service periods.
* Participate in the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations, ensuring all equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use.
* Monitor food inventory levels, assisting with stock rotation and ordering supplies as needed.
* Provide excellent service by assisting in serving meals and interacting positively with guests when required.
Skills
* Previous experience in a kitchen environment, preferably within a restaurant or catering setting.
* Strong culinary skills with knowledge of meal preparation techniques and food safety practices.
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
* Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn new skills.
