Teaching Personnel is working closely with a number of schools across South West and South East London who are seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in both mainstream and specialist settings.

The Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
* Support pupils on a 1:1 or small group basis, helping them to overcome barriers to learning.
* Work collaboratively with class teachers and SENCOs to deliver tailored support plans.
* Promote a positive, nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.
* Help pupils build confidence, independence and social-emotional skills.

Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
* Previous experience working with children with SEN within a UK school setting (essential).
* A child-only Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one through Teaching Personnel.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A patient, flexible and enthusiastic approach to supporting children with additional needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
