Maintenance Engineer - Food Manufacturing Multi Skilled Monday - Friday double days shift (Week 1: 6am-2pm, Week 2: 2pm-10pm) Overview - Maintenance Engineer A leading manufacturer is looking to hire a maintenance engineer and is ready to onboard immediately. As a maintenance engineer, you will be joining a structured department where you will ensure the factory is running up to speed and production levels are maintained. With recent investment on site, this is a good opportunity for someone to join a growing site where the role will be varies across maintenance, reliability, improvements and project work. Working a Monday - Friday shift, this will allow you to keep your weekends free. Responsibilities for the Maintenance Engineer Proactive maintenance and site PMs Reactive maintenance and responding to breakdowns quickly Working across both electrical and mechanical faults and maintenance Working on Engineering projects (e.g. commissioning, installations, relocations) Identifying and implementing improvements covering both processes machine output Adhering to site Health & safety rules and legislation on site Requirements for the Maintenance Engineer Time-served / recognised apprenticeship (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering subject Experience working in a Multi skilled role across mechanical and electrical engineering Ability to and experience of working to a fast pace, ideally confident in a manufacturing environment.
