1. Days: From 08:00 to 18:00 on Sundays
2. Monday: 13:00 to 23:00
3. Saturday: 09:00 to 19:00
Our Customer Delivery Driver rate of pay starts from £13.35 an hour; this increases to £14.56 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.
We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours weekly for new colleagues, with options to work fewer hours (minimum 12). We are flexible with scheduling within the specified availability windows, with 3 weeks' notice given for shifts. We welcome flexible availability that closely matches our advertised times.
Customers are at the heart of everything we do. As the face of Tesco on the road, our drivers deliver from Lands' End to John O'Groats, meeting customers in their homes daily. This role involves more than driving; it’s about helping others and delivering excellent service with a smile.
The job is hands-on, physical, and varied. No two shifts are the same, and while you are delivering to customers, you are largely your own boss, with support from managers and colleagues back at the depot.

Responsibilities include:
* Ensuring the van and trays are clean and organized.
* Maintaining a tidy delivery area and picking up litter.
* Washing trays as required.
* Loading the van and checking its roadworthiness.
* Communicating with customers about order changes and substitutions, offering refunds if needed.
* Handling products carefully and delivering within the designated time slot.
* Calling customers if early or if running late.
Requirements:
* Build positive relationships with colleagues to foster team spirit.

* Respond quickly to customer needs and embrace change.
* Be energetic and driven to exceed expectations.
* Hold a valid UK/EU/EEA driving license (full or automatic) for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points.
