Help get better trained personnel to the front line faster. This exciting role has been designed to reflect and support key aspects of our new ways of working as part of the modernisation programme. The role offers expert advice to promote active, evidence-based learning. It supports the design of inclusive, flexible, and tech-enhanced training for all learners, including those with Specific Learning Differences and Neurodiverse needs. Based at BRNC Dartmouth the role also covers several naval sites along the South Coast of England so travel with overnight stays will be required (on average twice a month). This is a hybrid role 50% Office, 50% Home. There may also be the opportunity for the role to be based out of Plymouth (HMS Drake). This role is Fixed Term until March 2027. Due to the nature of this role, you must be eligible for UK Security Clearance at SC level.

Role: Instructor (External Communications and Cryptographic Maintenance) – Royal Navy (Capita/Capita Pension Solutions context)
As an instructor, you’ll play a vital role in training Royal Navy students in External Communications and Cryptographic Maintenance, delivering hands-on instruction to Phase 3 CIS(T) Maintainers within the Weapons Engineering department. You’ll be responsible for teaching the maintenance of critical communication and cryptographic hardware, ensuring students gain the technical skills they need. Reporting to the Training Delivery Team Leader (Sensors/CIS), you’ll deliver high-quality, safe, and consistent training using best practices and harmonised approaches that support excellence across the Weapons Engineering training area.

In this role, you’ll play a key part in delivering better outcomes by bringing your experience to support and guide a team of administrators. Gas Safe Register are currently recruiting for a safety focused, gas qualified individual to join our field services team in Bath and surrounding areas. As a Gas Inspector, you'll be responsible for inspecting, reporting and feeding back on the gas safety standards delivered by registered businesses in Bath. You will be allocated a portfolio of registered businesses and provided a structure to ensure inspections and reports are completed in line with service level agreements.
Instructor – Royal Navy (Marine Engineering Electrical Training) – Term Time
Help get better trained personnel to the front line faster – This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced professional to make a lasting impact by mentoring the next generation of Royal Navy engineers—leveraging your career expertise without the need for prior teaching experience! Project Selborne is a Transformational Training programme with a strategic goal of modernising Royal Navy training to deliver “better trained sailors to the front line faster”. Working as an Instructor in a team that delivers training across Marine Engineering Electrical Training group you will use your skills as coach and/or mentor to deliver successful Electrical Engineering training to the Royal Navy. This role is offered on a term time basis working 45 weeks per year, with non-working weeks taken 2 weeks at Christmas and Easter and 3 weeks in August. The salary will therefore be pro rata’d and calculated to include contractual annual leave entitlement and bank holidays. Due to the nature of this role, you must be eligible for UK Security Clearance at SC level.
