Responsibilities
for the Legal Secretary role:
1. Preparing and typing legal documents, including contracts, leases, and transfer documents.
2. Daily filing including opening, closing, storage and retrieval of client files
3. Communicating with clients, solicitors, estate agents, and other parties involved in the transaction.
4. Managing diaries, arranging meetings, preparing conference rooms, providing refreshments as required.
5. Audio typing
6. Assist with reception cover including postal duties as required
7. Filing, photocopying, scanning, and providing general administrative support.
8. Maintaining confidentiality at all times.
Skills and Experience required for the Legal Secretary role:-
9. Previous experience in a conveyancing or legal secretary role is essential.
10. Proficiency in using case management systems (e.g., LEAP, Proclaim) and Microsoft Office.
11. Strong typing skills.
12. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
13. Outstanding organisational and time-management skills.
14. Friendly, professional, and client-focused attitude.
