Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for children. This role involves working closely with infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children, ensuring their safety, development, and well-being while promoting positive learning experiences.
Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality care and supervision for children in a nursery setting.
* Develop and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote childhood development.
* Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for all children.
* Monitor children's progress and behavior, implementing behavior management strategies as needed.
* Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support children's individual needs and development.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the playroom or garden.
* Assist in the preparation of materials for experiences.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including first aid protocols.
* Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills in early childhood education.
Requirements
* Experience working with children in a childcare setting is essential.
* Strong understanding of childhood development principles and practices.
* First aid certification is highly desirable.
* Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.

Pay: £12.21-£12.95 per hour
