Salary: £40,000 - 75,000 per year Requirements: Proven experience as an SRE, SRE Coach, or Reliability Engineering specialist in large-scale environments. Strong cloud expertise across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP. Hands-on experience with automation and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation) and CI/CD pipelines. Deep understanding of incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and reliability engineering. Demonstrated experience designing and delivering technical training or bootcamps. Familiarity with Google SRE, DevOps, and ITIL frameworks. Responsibilities: Design and deliver progressive, hands-on SRE training and bootcamps (foundation to advanced). Facilitate in-person and virtual bootcamps, workshops, and awareness sessions. Provide embedded coaching to support SRE transformation initiatives. Tailor content for multiple platforms and environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, Private Cloud). Conduct capability assessments and design targeted learning pathways. Mentor SREs and engineering teams on reliability engineering, automation, and incident management. Guide teams in defining and implementing Service Level Objectives (SLOs), Service Level Indicators (SLIs), and error budgets. This is a 3-month contract based in Cheshire on a hybrid basis, with 3 days per week in the office.
