Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated social worker to join our Family Safeguarding Teams in Mendip. This permanent, full-time position offers flexible hybrid working and the opportunity to work alongside experienced practitioners in areas such as substance misuse, domestic abuse, and mental health. Your role will involve working with children and families facing complex challenges including neglect, sexual harm, and child exploitation.

Responsibilities
Conduct assessments and develop plans in collaboration with families, utilizing Family Group Conferencing to empower families and foster positive change. Work within our specialist teams to inform assessments and support vulnerable children and families.
Candidate Requirements
* Qualified social worker registered with Social Work England
* Experience working with children and families in a local authority setting
* Desirable: experience within family courts
* Proficient IT skills, including LiquidLogic
* Full driving license and access to a vehicle
Additional Information
