Job Description
SUMMARY
We are seeking an Assembly Technician who can assemble and test mechanical and electrical systems. The successful candidate will have strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. They must also demonstrate proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Assembling mechanical and electrical components to build products on the assembly line according to engineering drawings and instructions.
* Conduct initial and visual inspections of components and completed products to ensure quality standards are met.
* Collaborating with other departments such as engineering and production to ensure efficient assembly process.
* Following established safety and efficiency procedures to ensure that operations run smoothly.
* Reporting incidents, faulty operations, or product imperfections on the assembly line to management.
* Packing assembled products into boxes for storage.
* Keeping tools and work areas clean and organized.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
* Proficient in hand tools, measuring instruments and electrical testing equipment
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow engineering drawings
* Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
* Knowledge of basic computer skills
WORKING HOURS
Monday - Friday 08:00am- 4:30pm
Salary
£13.00‑£14.50 per hour, commensurate with experience
Employment Details
Permanent full-time position - 40 hours per week. (Reviewed probation period)
