Teaching Personnel is currently working closely with a welcoming and supportive primary school in County Durham to recruit a KS2 Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support pupils across the key stage.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled HLTA to work in a thriving school environment, either leading small group interventions, providing whole-class cover, or offering targeted one-to-one support.
About the Role:
* Deliver engaging and targeted learning activities across KS2
* Support the class teacher in planning and assessing pupils’ progress
* Provide cover for lessons when required
* Help manage classroom behaviour in line with the school’s policies
* Create an inclusive learning environment that promotes progress for all pupils
Requirements:
* HLTA qualification or relevant Level 4+ qualification
* Recent experience working within Key Stage 2
* Strong behaviour management and classroom leadership skills
* A genuine passion for helping children achieve their full potential
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
