Venari Legal is delighted to be recruiting for our client, who is seeking a Senior In-House Solicitor to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced lawyer to work as a Managing Lawyer, focusing on commercial contracts and working with one of the UK's most iconic brands.
The role involves managing commercial contracts, technology and outsourcing agreements, third-party supplier arrangements, and other related contracts. You will supervise a team of lawyers and paralegals, work directly with business partners, and contribute to developing the legal service offering.
The client has established a dedicated team to support this work, which will work alongside their in-house legal function. This position is ideal for experienced lawyers interested in joining and extending a client’s legal team, with responsibilities including:
* Managing and supervising a team of lawyers and paralegals;
* Shaping innovative legal service delivery models;
* Driving efficiency in legal processes;
* Working closely with the client’s in-house legal team to understand the business better and foster strong relationships.

Responsibilities
You will lead a team to deliver comprehensive commercial contract services, including drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and advising on contracts. You will support your team in taking ownership of contracts through technological solutions and innovative working methods.
You will collaborate with the in-house legal team and other stakeholders, maintaining high-quality client service and strong relationships.

* Advise on commercial contracts and legal queries.
Required experience, skills, and attributes
* Experience working on media contracts;
* Experience managing team workload and capacity;
* Technology awareness;
* Experience with sophisticated clients is preferred;
* Exceptional drafting and legal research skills.
