About the role
We are seeking a hardworking and self-motivated Operations Assistant to help build and strengthen the systems and processes that power SOJO’s tailoring operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on structure, loves problem-solving, and has a systems-thinking mindset.
You’ll work closely with the Operations Manager to implement efficient workflows, monitor studio performance, and ensure smooth coordination across our tailoring network. Your work will directly contribute to creating scalable systems that reduce errors, improve productivity, and support seamless growth.
Key responsibilities
* Support the implementation and optimisation of operational processes across tailoring studios
* Coordinate day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth communication between teams
* Track key performance data and prepare regular reports for management
* Manage supplies and inventory across locations to maintain operational readiness
* Assist with scheduling and resource planning to maximise productivity
* Help train new studio team members on systems and procedures
* Identify inefficiencies and propose solutions to improve workflows
* Provide logistical and administrative support to the operations team
What we’re looking for
* 1–3 years of experience in operations, logistics, or process management (start-up or retail experience a plus)
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* A systems-thinking approach with a passion for building scalable processes
* Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently
* Confident with spreadsheets and project management tools
* Excellent communicator with a solution-focused mindset
* Experience or understanding of tailoring and alterations is preferred
