Large commercial law firm in London is seeking to recruit a Competition lawyer of 2 or more years’ PQE. This Competition practice advises clients on the full spectrum of competition and antitrust matters and they work on some of the largest cartel investigations, transactions and competition litigation matters. They also assist clients facing antitrust issues, including relating to abuse of dominance, commercial agreements/ arrangements and compliance advice. The London team focuses on UK work such as CMA and NSIA matters and competition litigation in the CAT or High Court. They also work on EU and cross-border matters, often jointly with international colleagues. The successful candidate will have a specific focus on UK and EU Competition law, and ideally experience of investigations, merger control and FDI, advisory/ behavioural advice and, ideally, competition litigation. You will have exposure to high quality work covering the following areas: • investigations and complaints, including cartel work • compliance, including advice on compliance programmes • merger control and joint ventures • antitrust/competition • advising on commercial agreements • competition litigation • advisory work including on abuse of dominance Experience and/or interest in competition litigation would also be of interest.
