HR Advisor - Fixed Term Contract | Shaftesbury | £17ph. Are you an experienced, people-focused HR Advisorprofessional who enjoys being the go-to person for managers and employees alike? This part-time contract role offers the chance to step into a varied generalist position where your judgement, coaching skills, and HR expertise will make an immediate impact. Working closely with an experienced HR Manager, you'll provide hands-on support across employee relations, onboarding, HR data, and policy work, ensuring fair and consistent people practices across the organisation.

Responsibilities
* Providing first-line HR advice to managers on disciplinary, grievance, capability, absence, and performance matters
* Supporting formal HR processes and investigations, ensuring fair and consistent handling of cases
* Coaching and guiding managers to build confidence in dealing with day-to-day people issues
* Interpreting and applying HR policies and procedures, and contributing to policy review for a new HRIS
* Supporting onboarding processes, including induction and probation reviews, to ensure a smooth employee experience
* Maintaining accurate employee records and producing HR metrics for monthly reporting requirements
Experience / Qualifications
* A minimum of 3 years' generalist HR experience, ideally in a similar advisory-level role
* Strong, up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
* Proven experience advising and coaching line managers on employee relations matters
* Experience drafting, interpreting, and updating HR policies and procedures
* Managing a busy and varied caseload while remaining organised, accurate, and calm under pressure
* Excellent communication, influencing, and judgement skills, with a commitment to confidentiality and professionalism
