Wayman Education is seeking a passionate and motivated Music ECT to join a welcoming and well-established secondary school in Bedford from January. Role Overview
The successful candidate will teach Music across KS3–KS4, working with a well-sequenced curriculum designed to build performance confidence, listening skills, and compositional understanding. As an ECT, you will benefit from a structured induction programme, weekly mentor meetings, reduced timetable responsibilities, and regular access to high-quality CPD specifically tailored to new teachers.
You will be encouraged to take an active role in the department’s rich extra-curricular programme, which includes choir rehearsals, ensembles, instrumental groups, and termly performance showcases. This is an excellent opportunity for an ECT looking to grow professionally while contributing to a department that is enthusiastic about expanding its musical footprint across the school community.

Experience & Qualifications
* Music-related degree
* PGCE + QTS (or in the final stages of qualification)

Salary
Paid on MPS1–MPS2, in line with ECT scale.
