Financial Controller - Boutique Music Business - London
Are you a qualified accountant with a practice background and music or entertainment industry experience? This could be the role for you!
We are working with a fast growing and highly respected boutique music business in London who are looking for a Financial Controller to join their team in a newly created role.
This is a fantastic opportunity to really make the role your own, working closely with the Finance Director and leading a team of 2, with the flexibility of hybrid working.
What you will be doing:
- Taking ownership of the day to day finance operations
- Producing management accounts, P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow reporting
- Annual budgets, forecasts and business modelling with the FD
- Statutory accounts and audit
- Treasury, payroll and tax - PAYE, VAT, Corporation Tax
- Playing a key role in shaping and building the finance function as the business grows
What they are looking for:
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Minimum 5 years FC/Finance Manager experience
- Practice background essential
- Music or entertainment industry experience essential
- Strong systems knowledge - CCH, Sage/Xero
- Self motivated, organised and a strong communicator
