Support Worker - Community Floating Support role at Nottingham Community Housing Association (NCHA).
Salary: £24,030 - £24,513 per annum
Location: Nottingham
Hours: 37 per week

This is a fixed term position for 12 months due to funding.
This role is based in our office in Nottingham city centre with an emphasis on supporting people in the local community. You will work in partnership with Nottingham City Council to support individuals, couples, and families who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. You will provide both practical housing support and compassionate guidance to help people rebuild their lives.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage your own caseload with professionalism and empathy
* Support referrals in securing permanent accommodation
* Liaise with Nottingham City Council and other local agencies
* Develop and review support plans and risk assessments
* Register individuals with social housing providers
* Refer clients to housing associations and private rental options
* Offer emotional support and encouragement throughout their journey
* Promote independence through budgeting, income maximisation, and access to education, employment, and leisure
* Maintain accurate records using internal systems
* Uphold safeguarding responsibilities and respond to health and safety concerns
* Work flexibly, including weekends and bank holidays, as part of a rota

Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday. Shifts start between 08:30 and 09:30 and finish between 15:30 and 17:00.
