Finance Assistant
Location: Northwich (Office-based)
Salary: £32,000
Type: Full-time, permanent
Overview
An established business is looking for a detail-oriented Finance Assistant to support its finance function. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you'll assist with month-end processes, transactional finance, and multi-entity accounting.
This role is ideal for someone AAT Level 3 qualified (or studying) looking to build on existing experience.
Key Responsibilities
Support month-end close (journals, accruals, prepayments, reporting)
Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations
Perform balance sheet reconciliations and maintain fixed assets
Produce reports and support forecasting
Process purchase ledger and supplier payments
Manage sales ledger, invoicing, and credit control
Post bank transactions and complete reconciliations
About You
AAT Level 3 (qualified or studying)
Previous finance or accounts experience
Strong attention to detail
Good Excel skills
Organised and proactive
