Hall & Woodhouse (H&W) is a family owned Dorset brewer and hospitality business founded in 1777, operating over 170 high end pub restaurants and inns across the South of England. We blend traditional values with a progressive, inclusive culture—and we're recruiting a Designate General Manager to support several of our houses on the Bath/Bristol area while you complete a structured development programme that prepares you to take full responsibility for your own site. The timing of the program will depend on your rate of progress and a suitable House becoming available.

What you'll need to be:
* An experienced GM with great leadership capability within branded hospitality
* Based in the Bath/Bristol area or planning to relocate
* An expert in quality food and drink, with high attention to detail
* A strategic commercially minded operator with experience growing hospitality businesses
* Diligent with operational standards and processes
* Well-presented, analytical and proactive in problem-solving
* Able to commit to work within the GM development program at various locations
* Determined to develop and maintain outstanding hospitality for our guests
* A natural host who loves making people's day
* Flexible and resilient with a solutions based mindset
* Mobile with access to independent transport, and prepared to stay away from home occasionally as required
