Join us as a Product Owner for Supply Chain and Manufacturing
Are you ready to play a vital role in delivering and supporting the systems and applications within Nobia’s Supply Chain and Manufacturing? At Nobia UK, we’re looking for a Product Owner to join our talented team in Darlington.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our operations across the UK and Nordics. Reporting to the Product Area Director, your day-to-day will include:
1. Ensuring agreed service levels are continuously met across the product area.
2. Being the point of escalation within the product team for incident management.
3. Managing successful delivery of new applications and systems through project delivery.
4. Ensuring smooth transition within the team from projects to support.
5. Developing relationships with key software suppliers to help realize the product road map, understanding supplier dependencies, escalation policies, and availability.
6. Liaising with all key stakeholders across Production Facilities and Warehouse Management to visualize both the road map and progress of the backlog.
7. Developing key relationships to manage stakeholder expectations.
8. Running the IT operations in a manufacturing site on a daily basis, including remote site support.
What You’ll Bring To The Team
To excel in this role, you'll bring a mix of experience, technical knowledge, and leadership skills:
1. Ability to work in a structured manner and provide a structured approach to managing demand within projects and operational support, with experience in Warehousing/SCM and Manufacturing IT.
2. Effectiveness in working across several key user groups and acting as an interface between IT and Business Processes.
3. Ability to foster a knowledge-sharing environment for innovation and solution design, with experience in System Architecture, System Engineering/Configuration, Service Management, and Project Management (certifications are a plus).
4. Skills to motivate the team and keep projects on track across the entire product lifecycle.
5. Experience in remote and onsite leadership, with a hands-on mentality and broad IT background.
6. Knowledge of SAP S4 EWM, Warehouse Logistics, and Shopfloor Systems is highly desirable.
7. Experience in System Development in .NET, Visual Basic, and MSSQL is highly desirable.
