RMS Sales Development Consultant This is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of our expanding propositions in Risk Management Services, (RMS), at NFUM, (including Fleet, Cyber and Natural Capital), as RMS evolves to meet NFUM’s future commercial ambitions As a proactive new business developer, it’s a great time to join in this role as you can help shape the next phase of RMS! This is a field-based role requiring regular field-based travel across the UK. Typically, 4 days field based and 1 day office based, (Stratford upon Avon or any regional office). About the roleAs an RMS Sales Development Consultant, you will support the profitable growth of our Risk Management Services portfolio. Working in partnership with Agents, regional teams and customers, you will help deliver tailored solutions that support safer, more resilient businesses while contributing to the wider success of the General Insurance business. You will act as a trusted consultant, educating and supporting Agents and regional stakeholders on the full range of RMS products and new propositions. Through face-to-face and telephone appointments, you will consult with customers to understand their risks and deliver bespoke risk management services that meet legislative, insurance and customer requirements. You will build and maintain strong working relationships with Agents, consultants, regional management and external partners, supporting lead generation, sales delivery and high-quality customer outcomes. You will also support the effective allocation of consultancy resources and contribute to short-term or one-off projects as required.As new propositions are introduced, you will act as a subject matter expert, providing guidance, training and insight to colleagues and sharing best practice to continuously improve performance and customer outcomes.About youYou will be a strong communicator, able to influence at all levels, and used to working across multiple stakeholders, (including Agents and Customers). You will be naturally proactive, a strong negotiator and enjoy achieving financial targets. You will also be able to demonstrate the following: Self-generating sales experience - able to evidence high-volume new business development skills Product knowledge – strong knowledge of RMS (Risk Management Services) products Strong relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills Data Analysis skills – able to analyze data to drive lead generation and sales UK driving license (essential for this field-based role).
