Full‑Time Accounts Assistant
Castle Employment Group, a Sunday Times Best Company to Work for, is advertising this permanent position based in Malton. The role requires 37 hours per week, Monday‑Friday, with flexible working hours and an openness to part‑time hours for the right candidate.

Role Overview
As an Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for managing day‑to‑day transactional finance tasks, including purchase ledger, sales ledger, and credit control.
Key Responsibilities
* Process and post invoices, payments and receipts accurately and in a timely manner.
* Perform bank reconciliations and reconcile supplier statements.
* Assist with cash allocation and maintain accurate financial records.
* Support the finance function and provide general administrative support when required.
Qualifications & Experience
* Experience in transactional finance with good working knowledge of Xero, Sage and Excel.
* Highly organised, accurate and confident in managing routine accounting processes.
* A team player with a positive attitude and approachable manner.
* Proactive and able to identify opportunities to improve systems and processes.
Location
Based in Malton, the role is easily commutable from Norton, Pickering, Scarborough, York and surrounding areas. The office offers free on‑site parking and is accessible by public transport.
