Are you a creative, skilled educator ready to take on the role of Art & Design / Design & Technology Teacher in secondary schools across the Wirral? Milk Education Liverpool is recruiting a passionate teacher who can inspire students through engaging practical and theory lessons—across specialisms such as Product Design, Graphics, Resistant Materials, Textiles, Food, and Art & Design.
About the Role
In this role, you will:
1. Plan and deliver high‑quality lessons in Art & Design and/or DT aligned to the secondary curriculum.
2. Facilitate practical workshop/studio activities, ensuring safe use of tools, materials, and equipment.
3. Assess, track, and support student progress at KS3–KS4 (KS5 experience welcome).
4. Manage classroom behaviour effectively, promoting an inclusive and creative learning environment.
5. Contribute to department resources, enrichment, and displays, showcasing student work.

Essential Requirements (Please read carefully)
To be considered for this role, relevant experience in UK secondary schools is essential.
We cannot progress applications without verifiable UK secondary experience.
You will also need:
6. QTS/QTLS (or strong UK secondary cover experience as an Unqualified Teacher/Instructor).
7. Proven experience delivering Art & Design and/or DT in UK secondary schools—this is essential.
8. Strong behaviour management and safeguarding knowledge.
9. Confidence with practical facilities (e.g., workshops/studios) and, where relevant, tools/kit.
10. Up‑to‑date knowledge of GCSE specifications and assessment.
