About the Company
Join a world-class aerospace manufacturer producing complex components for both civil and defence applications. My client is seeking a skilled Aerospace Welder for a 6-month contract based in the Isle of Man, offering the chance to work on high-specification projects in a precision-driven environment.
About the Role
You’ll form part of a close-knit, highly skilled welding team responsible for producing precision aerospace components to exacting standards. The role demands technical excellence, attention to detail, and pride in workmanship.
Key Responsibilities
Perform TIG (GTAW) and MMA/SMAW welding on mild steel, aluminium, and titanium to aerospace standards.
Carry out Oxy-Acetylene welding, Flame Brazing, and Spot Welding to Martin Baker certification levels.
Read and interpret technical drawings and welding symbols with precision.
Inspect and test welds to meet AS9100, NADCAP, and internal quality standards.
Prepare, align, and assemble components to tight tolerances.
Maintain and troubleshoot welding equipment for consistent performance.
Work collaboratively to achieve production schedules in a high-mix, low-volume environment.What We’re Looking For
Strong experience in MIG, MMA, and TIG welding.
Certifications in Tig (GTAW), Stick (SMAW), and Flame Brazing (Martin Baker preferred).
Proven capability working to aerospace or similarly high-precision standards.
Strong understanding of material properties and weld integrity.
Keen eye for detail, accuracy, and quality.
Ability to work efficiently across multiple setups and projects.Why Join Us
