Speech and Language Therapy HCSW (Band 4) – Bairns Hoose

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated individual to join our team on a temporary basis (funding available until April 2026) to be part of a Test of Change project within The Bairns Hoose programme (Bairns' Hoose - Child protection - gov.scot). This post will support a dedicated Bairns Hoose Speech & Language Therapist.
Clinical work will be based at Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital; however, the post holder will be delivering services to both Aberdeen City and Aberdeen Shire and will be expected to travel accordingly.
The role involves working with children and young people with complex communication difficulties, including victims or witnesses of abuse and children under the age of criminal responsibility whose behavior has caused harm.
Within the department of Speech and Language Therapy in Combined Child Health, we are committed to staff development through regular meetings, supervision, and ongoing support and training.
