St Luke’s Hospice is seeking a compassionate, experienced Senior Healthcare Assistant to join our End-of-Life Urgent Care Service (EOLUCS). In this vital role, you will work alongside our Registered Nurses as part of a dedicated multidisciplinary team, supporting patients and their families during the most important moments of life.

About the Role

As a Senior Healthcare Assistant, you will play a key part in supporting community-based end‑of‑life patients to remain in their preferred place of care, helping prevent unnecessary hospital admissions. You will contribute to holistic, individualised care and work closely with internal and external professionals to ensure seamless, joined‑up support for patients and carers.

Must hold a full driving license.

Why Join St Luke’s

At St Luke’s, you’ll be part of a supportive team committed to delivering outstanding, compassionate end‑of‑life care. You will benefit from continuous learning, reflective practice, regular supervision, annual appraisal, and opportunities for professional development.

You will also contribute to a culture of openness, teamwork, and service improvement.

Ready to Make a Real Difference?

If you have the passion, resilience, and commitment to support patients and their families at one of the most meaningful times of life, we would love to hear from you.

Apply today and help us continue delivering exceptional care when it matters most.

We would encourage informal discussions regarding this post with the Nurse Consultant Jen Nicholls or Jo Davis on 01752 964 200
