Were seeking an experienced HR Advisor who has a background of Policy Development to join a busy specialist team on an initial contract until end of March 2026
We are looking for an HR Advisor (Policy) to join our busy and supportive team.
You will lead the development, review, and implementation of HR / People and Culture policies and procedures to support strategic objectives, ensure legalpliance, and promote a fair, inclusive, and high-performing workplace.
Main Responsibilities
1. Review, consult on, and support the implementation of People and Culture policies in line with employment legislation, best practice, and values.
2. Monitor changes in employment law and advise on implications for policies and practices
3. Collaborate with People and Culture colleagues, trade unions, legal advisors, and service managers to ensure policies are practical, legally sound, and aligned with organisational needs
4. Provide expert advice and guidance onplex HR policy development to senior leaders and People and Culture Business Partners
The Ideal Candidate
5. Full Membership of CIPD
6. Relevant experience of employee relations and policy development in a unionised environment.
7. Ability to analyseplex HR processes and produce logical and accessible policies and procedures
The Offer
8. You will be engaged on a temporary contract via Hays starting ideally on 18th August though to 31st of March 2026
9. Hybrid role but weekly requirement to attend the office in Bournemouth, 1–2 days per week
10. Interviews will be in person in Bournemouth, Dorset.
