Early Years Practitioner Level 2/3 – Maternity Cover
Location: New Cross SE14
Salary: £13.00 to £15.00 per hour
Hours: 9.00am – 17.00pm Monday to Friday
Contract: Temp, Full-time
We are working on behalf of our client who are looking for Qualified Early Years Practitioner Level 2 /3 to join the team. Maternity Cover (6 Months)
About the Role:
* Support children aged 0–5 in nursery settings
* Assist with daily routines, play, learning activities, and care
* Help create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment
* Work alongside nursery teams to meet EYFS standards
What we need from you
* Level 2 /3 childcare qualification (essential)
* Solid understanding of EYFS and how to apply it in practice
* Someone who’s hands-on, reliable, and comfortable taking initiative
* Experience working in a nursery or early years setting
* A practitioner who gets down to child level, joins in the play, and builds real connections

You must be able to provide us with qualification certificates, DBS update or undergo Enhanced DBS check, and be able to provide 2 professional references.
