Team
Kennedys IT team delivers a responsive, effective and timely service to the firm's partners and employees.
The IT Development Team is responsible for the creation and maintenance of bespoke applications that enable the firm to perform more productively or to deliver competitive advantages. The team is largely split between the UK and India.
Key Responsibilities
* Work in a team of front- and back-end developers, create and maintain effective quality tools for the firm and its clients.
* Coordinate with an agile squad of developers and product owners to deliver product enhancements and new products, ensuring the practice is equipped with the best tools to provide a high quality of service.
* Analyse project scope and help define technical direction to achieve milestones for initiatives.
* Act as a trusted advisor on best practice software development, including risks, timelines, trends, and appropriate development methodology and technologies.
* Liaise with stakeholders such as product owners, managers, application support, and reporting teams, providing solid advice and identifying risks.
* Help build consensus among stakeholder groups with alternative views.
* Ensure continuous skills development within the development team through pair programming, formal training, cross-skilling, etc.

* Working within a distributed development team (15+) desirable.
