As a Purchasing Assistant, you’ll support the day‑to‑day operations of the Purchasing department, helping us maintain optimal stock levels and continue delivering excellent customer service.
This position is full time, working Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm

More about the role
5. Assist the Purchasing Team in maintaining fill rates by ensuring timely and effective stock replenishment. Resolve fill rate issues, understand route cause and take corrective action.
6. Proactively expedite outstanding purchase orders for confirmation of supply and ensure all details are correct.
7. Manage outstanding purchase orders within the system and update delivery dates and where appropriate communicate these to the Customer Services Team so the customer has the most up-to-date information.
8. Contact suppliers to report delivery discrepancies and liaise with them and the Buyers for appropriate action to be taken. Review delivery statistics of our suppliers and presenting feedback to improve performance when required.
9. Ensure timely resolution by suppliers on delivery issues and report statistics to them where they could improve on performance.
10. Liaise with suppliers to resolve problems with faulty products.
11. Participate in special projects and perform other duties as required.
