We have a fantastic opportunity to work as a Transport Planner for our client, a leading logistics group operating within the UK transport, warehouse, and fulfilment sector. This is a permanent position employed by our client.
Staffline is recruiting a Transport Planner to work in Colchester on behalf of a fantastic client.
The rate of pay is up to £35,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
This is a full-time role working fixed shifts, Monday to Friday. The hours of work are:
- 8am to 6pm
Your Time at Work
As a Transport Planner, you will be contributing to the success of the transport team, You will be responsible for completing and overseeing the day-to-day planning function of the transport operation.
As a highly motivated and driven individual, you will be experienced at working in a quick and fast-paced environment and be able to deal with day-to-day challenges in providing an effective transport plan.

We are looking for somebody who has all or most of the following
- Experience of using a Transport Management System - TMS
- Strong planning and organisational skills
- All-round excellent IT skills, Microsoft packages
- Ability to work on their own initiative to find resolutions and manage their own workload
- Proven experience of working in a fast-paced environment
- Fantastic attention to detail
- Can meet deadlines with a cool head
- Effective and collaborative team player
