You will be responsible for securing high-quality teaching, effective curriculum planning, and strong outcomes for all students. Key responsibilities include: Leading curriculum development across Computing and ICT Driving improvements in teaching and learning through coaching and monitoring Using data effectively to raise attainment and close gaps Line managing and developing members of the department Ensuring curriculum coverage, progression, and challenge for all learners, including SEND and high-attaining pupils Contributing to whole-school improvement priorities The Ideal Candidate: Qualified Teacher Status A strong academic background in Computing, ICT or a related discipline Proven success teaching Computing/ICT in a secondary setting Experience or readiness to lead a department or key stage A commitment to high standards, inclusive practice and safeguarding The ability to inspire students and develop colleagues You will be a reflective practitioner with high expectations, excellent organisational skills, and the drive to build on existing success.
