Mental Health Support Worker (Nights) Location: Fernside House, Armley, Leeds Hours: 38.5 hours per week Salary: £25,225.20 / £12.60 per hour £14.10 overtime Shift Pattern: 7:45pm –7:45am, two-week rolling rota Week 1: Mon, Tue, Sat, Sun Week 2: Wed, Thu, Fri Active Pathways is delighted to be recruiting for a compassionate Mental Health Support Worker to join our brand-new residential service, Fernside House, in Armley, Leeds. Fernside House will provide a safe and supportive home for men with enduring mental health needs, and we’re looking for someone who shares our commitment to person-centred, recovery-focused care. The Best Bits Extra paid day off every year for your birthday Annual leave starts at the statutory minimum, with extra days rewarded at 2 and 5 years’ service Refer a Friend scheme – earn up to £500 per referral Health Cash Plan – covers dental, optical, virtual GP, counselling, and includes discounted gym membership As a Support Worker, you will: Support individuals on their journey to recovery through person-centred care in a residential setting. Help residents develop independent living skills and achieve personal goals. Work within a multidisciplinary team to build positive relationships with residents. Provide emotional and practical support to residents. Promote engagement in meaningful activities and encourage social inclusion. Assist with daily living tasks and support residents in accessing education, employment, and the community. Promote independence and self-confidence, helping residents regain control over their lives. Experience Required: Experience within a Mental Health or Residental setting Can build rapport with ease with not only the residents but the wider team Understanding the importance of offering person-centered quality care About Us Active Pathways Ltd has been operating in Lancashire and Yorkshire, for over 20 years as a Mental Health and Rehabilitation provider, offering support to adults aged 18.
