About the Role
Join Poundland as a Designate Store Manager in Birmingham, motivating and inspiring your team to deliver outstanding store standards and customer service every day. You will oversee all aspects of store performance, driving sales, achieving targets, and ensuring the day‑to‑day operations run smoothly. Your role will involve leading the team, developing colleagues, managing stock control, and enhancing the customer experience in a fast‑paced retail environment.
Responsibilities
* Drive sales and meet performance targets.
* Lead, motivate and develop the store team.
* Oversee operations, stock control and customer experience.
* Ensure all store policies and procedures are followed.
* Create a safe and welcoming environment for customers and staff.
* Make commercial decisions and adapt quickly in a fast‑moving retail setting.
Qualifications
* Proven retail management experience.
* Strong leadership and team‑building skills.
* Commercial awareness and ability to use data to drive performance.
