Are you looking to be part of improving the procurement system at a dynamic manufacturing company? Can you make a difference?
As a Buyer at Independent Forgings, whilst one day will never be the same as the next, on a typical day you might find yourself:
* Supporting the Purchasing Manager with the setup and development of a centralised procurement function, developing policies, procedures, and controls for the procurement lifecycle.
* Managing the purchase order process, including managing PO requisition process and expediting orders from suppliers
* Generating reports from purchasing data to allow business decisions
* Working alongside the sub contract coordinator to manage and expediate the sub contract requirements
What do you need to succeed at IFA?
* You should enjoy making improvements to the procurement systems.
* Get a buzz out of hitting our targets.
* You are likely to have some experience at this type of role previously.
* You will have great organisational and IT skills
* You are likely to be qualified to A level standard or similar
