Assistant Estimator Duties:
* Supporting the preparation of accurate, competitive tenders for groundworks and civils packages
* Carrying out take offs, measurement and pricing with guidance from senior members
* Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documents
* Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to gather and assess quotations
* Helping produce clear, well presented tender submissions
* Playing an active role in the bid process and wider pre construction team
Assistant Estimator Requirements:
1. At least 2 years experience as an estimator or assistant estimator within groundworks
2. Understanding of foundations, drainage, externals and general groundworks processes
