About the Role
We are seeking a commercially minded and detail-oriented Finance Analyst to join our growing Finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly analytical individual who is passionate about data and keen to play a key role in supporting financial planning, reporting, and business decision-making.
The Finance Analyst will provide critical support to the Finance function (including AP & AR) and Senior Management, acting as a trusted business partner across the organisation. You will analyse financial data, improve reporting processes, and deliver meaningful insights that drive performance and inform strategic decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Analysis
Prepare monthly management accounts and detailed variance analysis
Analyse revenue, margin, and cost performance against budget and forecast
Provide clear and insightful commentary on financial results and key business drivers
Assist in the preparation of board packs and management reporting
Budgeting & Forecasting
Support the annual budgeting process
Take ownership of daily cashflow management
Partner with department heads to track expenditure and identify risks and opportunities
Business Partnering
Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and other departments to resolve discrepancies and maintain robust processes
Develop pricing and margin analysis to support revenue growth
Provide ad-hoc financial modelling and scenario analysis to support decision-making
Financial Control & Process Improvement
Support the month-end close process and ensure adherence to timetables
Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data
Identify and implement improvements to reporting efficiency and internal controls
Assist with audit queries where required
Measures of Success
Consistent adherence to month-end and internal reporting deadlines
Proactive resolution of queries and issues
Continuous improvement in finance processes and reporting effectiveness

Skills & Experience
Strong Excel skills and highly numerate
Logical, structured, and methodical approach to work
Ability to analyse trends, patterns, and financial performance
Strong problem-solving capability

Experience working in a multi-site environment (desirable)
